Technology companies are constantly championing their brand spankin’ new products to innovation-hungry consumers. The sheer number of choices can be baffling, but thanks to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), there’s no need to test each and every product.

Every year, the CES, which runs from Jan. 10 to 13 in Las Vegas, recognizes what it considers to be the best in innovation. The Innovations Design and Engineering Awards, which have been honoring tech inventions since 1976, are judged by an independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press.
