Christmas is just days away now, and these critters are more than ready for the big day. Some of these guys are still looking for permanent homes, while others have found homes but still make the rounds reminding folks to keep helping the shelters and rescue organizations that make it all happen.

Is that kitty kissing Santa Claws?

That’s Greg. The awesome folks at Anjellicle Cats Rescue pulled him from Animal Care and Control and saved his life. Greg was in pretty bad shape with the rescue got to him, but he’s on the mend thanks to their efforts. He is just under 2 years old and will be available for adoption once his medical treatments are done. In the meantime, Merry Christmas, Greg! And Merry Christmas, Angelique!

“Ho, ho, homygod, why are you making me wear this?!”

Oh, Ralphie. This poodle/Shih Tzu mix is about 7 years old and weighs about 7 pounds. Don’t let the look of put-off misery and angst put you off, either, because this guy’s a lovebug. He was saved from a hoarding situation, found himself at the NYCACC and the awesome Posh Pets came to the rescue.

Quiet and laid back, Ralphie is hoping to find a permanent home with someone who has the time and patience to train him and the heart to love him forever.

The organization’s services include — but are not limited to — pulling, vetting, transporting, fostering and placing rescued Dobermans into an approved, reputable rescue group.
