We have to admit, with large bank accounts, access to the finest trainers and food, and interesting famous-person adventures, celebrities have the opportunity to write about health and fitness from a unique perspective. That’s probably why we keep gobbling up their books.

Every year, you’ll find a new health-and-wellness book that’s penned by a famous person and sold on the shelves to the masses. We found six upcoming books you should keep your eye out for in the new year that were written by people living in the limelight. Who knows, maybe we can actually learn something from them!

Dick Cheney, along with his cardiologist Jonathan Reiner, are writing a medical memoir about the former VP’s long battle with heart disease. According to the Mother Nature Network, the 71-year-old has had at least five heart attacks and has undergone nearly every medical procedure in the book to stay alive — from quadruple bypass to a coronary stent and most recently in March, a full heart transplant. “Through the story of my own personal experience with heart disease, I hope to provide education, inspiration and hope to millions of Americans who are facing similar challenges,” Cheney said in a release.

It is not clear when the book will release and if it has been sold to a publisher yet, but this is definitely worth mentioning. The former Alaska governor and VP candidate has a health and fitness book in the works that will be based on her Alaskan lifestyle. In an email to People magazine in the fall, she wrote: “Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!”
