Buy a shoe, plant a tree

Helping to end deforestation in Brazil’s Atlantic Rainforest is as easy as purchasing a pair of shoes. Right now, etnies will plant a tree for every purchase of a pair of etnies Jameson 2 and Jameson 2 Eco men’s and kid’s shoes or girl’s Caprice Eco and Circe Eco shoes.

etnies’ goal is to help plant 100,000 trees in São Paulo section of the Atlantic Rainforest. To that end, the company has teamed up with Trees for the Future, a leading nonprofit organization planting trees worldwide through seed distribution, agroforestry training and in-country technical assistance.

etnies’ partnership with Trees for the Future will also help empower students and indigenous people of Brazil to restore their land and better care for the environment.
