Free haircuts for kids at JCPenney this August

July 30, 2012

Your back-to-school checklist is seemingly never-ending, and we hate to add anything to the list, but it couldn’t hurt to tack on “Get my kid a haircut.” And luckily, JCPenney is offering free haircuts for kids in grades K through 6 at all JCP salons in August.

“The back-to-school season presents the perfect opportunity to offer free haircuts for kids,” said Ron Johnson, CEO of JCPenney. “We know how important it is for kids to make a great first.”

And special bonus: JCPenney will donate a dollar — up to $50,000 — to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the 4-H Club for every student who receives a free haircut on Aug. 1.
