OK, so maybe yesterday’s tip was a little intense for some. Don’t be discouraged, you can still get in shape with workouts that won’t cause you to collapse from exhaustion or pain.

Low-impact exercise — like bicycling, rowing or walking — is safer on the joints, which is great for those with existing injuries or joint problems. You can also attend cool and unusual low-impact classes that use bungees or a trampoline.

Another way of beng kind to your joints while exercsing is to take it into the water, which can include: swimming, deep water running or pool yoga.
