The videos have already been seen by millions of viewers on YouTube — have you seen them? They feature "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon and actor Dwayne Johnson (AKA The Rock) portraying two fitness gurus, The Fungo Brothers, doing the latest exercises of the era. In Part one, the boys are feeling the burn using a knock-off version of the Thigh Master called the Thigh Cruncher. Watch the clip:

Part 1:

Part two goes back to the 50s when “The Twist” was the popular style of dance — and also a killer cardio workout. The Fungo Brothers created their own cardio-heavy dance called the “Squat Thrust.” Later, they’re featured in a skit demonstrating “The Jack Weight,” obviously a rip-off of the ridiculous piece of fitness equipment: the “Shake Weight.” Watch the clip:

Part 2

The skits are hilarious — anything with Jimmy Fallon usually is — but they also make us wonder … what fitness trends will we, and future generations, be making fun of in 10 or 20 years?

Here’s our speculation:


Zumba seems pretty cool at the moment but later generations may poke fun at Zumba culture — the fashion, music, upbeat vibes, even some of the hip-swiveling dance moves.
