This isn’t your usual pumpkin French toast. Made with Rudi's Organic Bakery Pumpkin Sandwich Bread, this toast is a little sweet, a little savory and a whole lot of yum.

Rudi's Organic Bakery Pumpkin Sandwich BreadIngredients

  • 4-8 slices Rudi's Organic Bakery Pumpkin Sandwich Bread
  • ½ cup milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract



  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and coat thoroughly.
  4. Fry on each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar or any of your other favorite toppings.
