If you’re like me, mornings are rushed. If it comes down to makeup or breakfast, we all know what wins. However, breakfast remains the most important meal of the day since it gets your metabolism revved up after a night of sleep and gives you energy to get through your hectic morning. Instead of stressing about it, try making this protein banana bread, which should last you most of the week!

ripe bananas
cup of oat flour
scoops of vanilla protein powder
cup of nonfat Greek yogurt
egg whites
cup of unsweetened applesauce
packets of Truvia 
6 to 8
vanilla extract
2 teaspoons
baking soda
1 teaspoon
1 Pinch
chopped walnuts
1/2 cup 


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Pace bananas in a mixing bowl and mix until you have a pudding-like texture.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients, except nuts, to bowl and mix well.
  4. Carefully fold nuts into batter.
  5. Prepare an 8-inch-by-inch Pyrex dish by spraying it with a nonstick spray.
  6. Evenly place batter in dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is completely cooked.
  7. Cut into 12 squares and enjoy 3 to 4 squares for a well-rounded, on-the-go breakfast!
