  • And lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

  • Children with pets have a 19% chance of developing allergies, versus 33% for those without pets.

  • Dog owners are more likely to be physically fit.

  • Those with pets have lower stress levels, better moods, lower risk of depression and lower anxiety levels.
